My simple dreams

My overall goals and dreams are simple.. To be happy and have success beyond money but with love and happiness. I also dream to make a difference in the young minds that I will influence. I want to be a great parent and wife as well… A role model that they can be proud of and someone my parents admire. I just want to be happy and know that in my life I did all I could to be the best I could be. But where ever I am in my future I hope I am proud of my accomplishments and I hope I can become the person I dream to be now. A person with a continued kind heart, loving, caring, strong, and most of all determined for change.

Game in my phone

When i was in senior high school, the game that I often play in my free time is mobile legend, this game is a game of a million people played by people ranging from teens to tens of years.I often play with my classmates.This game teaches us how we manage and control ourselves, never give up and believe that the epic comeback really exists, requires hard work to get victory by training skills and concentration in achieving goals.and the last is  importance of teamwork to win

the same thing with my brother

my name is ifah and i have a brother named ludvi. we have the same hobby, our hobby is playing playstasion or Ps. when I was in elementary school my mother bought us Ps2.and we played a shootout. at that time we completed the mission within one month. It's so long because we are still amateurs in shooting games and also still do not understand the correct strategy in a game. then, when I entered junior high school. my dad bought me Ps4 as a gift because I received a favorite junior high school. at that moment I invited my brother to play call of duty. why did I choose that game. because I already have a prior basis for playing shots. My Hobby

My Favorite food

Actually I like all of kinds of food. Almost all of the food to be my favorite. I love fried rice, but it has reason because I mostly eat fried rice. Previously I don’t like the fried rice, but because my mother used to often make it for breakfast before going to school. I also become love to fried rice. Formerly, when my mom makes breakfast fried rice in the morning I rarely spends the fried rice which made ​​my mother, but over time I try to spend it for breakfast. I make my habits to finish my breakfast every my mom make fried rice because I often become weak rather when Monday comes I must finish my breakfast because I have ceremony flag. Now I really liked the fried rice. I do not have a favorite place for fried rice customers because I can cook by self and with my own creations. In the other hand, my brother often brought fried rice from the job to home. But I prefer the fried rice that I have created by self. If the fried rice was cold, I rarely devoured. Sometimes I reheat fried rice was cold; sometimes I give to my brother who ate it because he also likes to eat fried rice. My Boring Holiday At Home

When holiday was coming, I didn’t have any plan for it. So, I just stayed at home to spend my two weeks of college break. I didn’t feel excited at all because it was so boring.

I started the day by waking up at about 6 o’clock. It was later than my usual habit. Then I took a bath to freshen my body. After that, I played my favorite enemy strike games on my computer until it almost midday. Then I had lunch to recover my energy for helping my parents to clean the house. I also didn’t forget the homework that my lecture gave me. I did it at 07.30 pm. After I finished my homework, I dined because I was so hungry. Then I watched my favorite shows on YouTube all night long. I kept awake till late night during my holiday and went to bed at 12 pm.

That was all about my boring holiday. Although it was just an ordinary holiday, at least I could refresh my mind from the daily college activities.

Noun Phrase

An object phrase is a phrase where the main word is a noun with other words that describe the noun.
Formation of Noun Phrase
The phrases of objects can be formed by arrangement of words like the following:

1. Article + Noun
a) Indifinite Article + Noun
In the previous material I explained about indifinite articles and Noun Phrase can be formed by the existence of the article a and an before the noun.
Example:
a girl an apple a university

The series of words a girl is a noun phrase, a explains the noun girl; girl is the main word (headword) in the phrase, a is the word that describes the word girl.

b) Difinite Article + Noun
the definition of the Definite article is the article.
Example:
the house the book the boys the pens

The string of words above him is the phrase object. The describes house nouns, book, boys, and pens. House words, book, boys, pens are the main words and "the" explains the main words.

2. Demonstrative Adjective + Noun
It has also been explained that some demonstrative adjective words include the words of this, these, that, and those.
Example:
This song is that those who say that strangers are tragedies this liquid

3. Possessesive Adjective + Noun and Possessive noun + noun
What is meant by possessive adjective are words that express the owner of something, for example my, your, his, her, its, our, their, jean's, Mr.Jones', etc.

the word "big" is an adjective that clarifies the noun "houses"
other ways of forming a noun phrase include:

Article + adjective + noun (example: a tall man, the angry birg, etc.)
In the example of "a tall man", the word "a" is the article, the word "tall" is adjective, all these words describe "man".

Article + Adverb + adjective + noun (example; a really nice vacation)

Using Can i, May i, Could i

Can I..?

"Can I...?" is the most casual way to ask for permission. It's common for talking to friends, coworkers, and family members:

Ø Can I see it?

Ø Can I get something to drink?

May I...?

"May I...?" is the most formal way to ask for permission in English. Formal language is useful for talking to strangers and when there's a large power gap between you and the person you're talking to.

You can ask a stranger for a small favor like this:

Ø  May I borrow your pen for a second? 

    Some teachers in elementary, junior high, and high school require their students to ask for permission using     "May I...?"

Student: Can I go to the bathroom?

Teacher: "May I...?"

Student: May I go to the bathroom?

Teacher: Yes, you may.

Could I...?

"Could I...?" is a good way to ask for permission when you need to ask for something that's a "bigger" request. In other words, you don't feel as comfortable asking for it. For example, you might ask your sister:

      Ø  Could I borrow your other car when I'm in town?

"Could I...?" is not as formal as "May I...?" but it's better for big requests.

To, Too, Two

What’s the difference between to, too, and two? It’s not too difficult to use them, once you take the time to learn what they mean – and do some practicing, too

To has two functions. First, as a preposition, in which case it always precedes a noun.

Secondly, to indicates an infinitive when it precedes a verb.

Too

Too also has two uses. First, as a synonym for "also":

Secondly, too means excessively when it precedes an adjective or adverb.

Plural and Singular nouns

1. Singular Noun

Ketika benda itu hanya satu, maka benda itu singular atau tunggal. misalnya; a boy. a girl, a book, the pen. Jika kata benda tersebut singular, maka di dalam kalimat harus memakai article "a, an, atau the" atau di masukan kata "one".
misalnya: a book, an apple, one book, one pencil, the table.

2. Plural Noun

Jika benda tersebut lebih dari satu maka benda tersebut dikatakan Plural atau jamak. misalnya; boys, 2 books, the pens.
Di dalam bahasa Inggris, jika ingin merubah benda dari Singular ke Plural ada beberapa aturan;

a. Dengan menambah "s"
Misalnya: 

"book" menjadi "books"
"pen"   menjadi "pens"
"boy"   menjadi "boys"

b. Dengan menambah "es"
Jika kata benda tersebut diakhiri dengan hufur "s, z, X, sh, dan ch" maka bentuk jamaknya ditambah   dengan "es".
Contoh:

dish             dishes
watch          watches
buzz            buzzes
box             boxes

3. Kata benda yang huruf terakhirnya "y" dan didahului oleh konsonan maka cara membentuknya menjadi jamak adalah dengan merubah "y" menjadi "ies".
contoh:

lady           ladies
city            cities
army          armies

catatan:
jika kata benda yang berakhiran "y" dan didahului oleh huruf vokal maka tinggal menambahkan "s" saja, dan jangan merubah "y" menjadi "ies".
Contoh:

boy            boys
day            days

4. Kata benda yang huruf terakhirnya "f" atau "fe", maka dirubah menaji "ves".
contoh:

leaf            leaves
wife           wives
knife          knives
wolf          wolves

catatan: tetapi ada beberapa kata benda yang berakhiran "f'  dan kita bisa dengan hanya menambahkan "s" saja. misalnya;

5. Irregular Plurals
Irregular plurals berarti kata benda yang singgular dan dalam bentuk pluralnya tidak ditambah "s" atau "es". misalnya;

tooth          teeth

catatan:
ada beberapa kata benda yang tidak ada bentuk jamaknya. kata-kata benda tersebut adalah;
scissors, oats, tongs, dregs, trousers, pinchers, bellows, shears, mumps, victuals, tweezers, measles.

Have and Has

Have dan Has, sebagai kata kerja mempunyai arti yang sama, yaitu "mempunyai". Ini penjelasan singkat pemakaian "have" dan "has"

1. HAVE

contoh kalimat:
I have a book.
You have 3 apples.
They have a big house.

untuk membuat kalimat negatif yang menyatakan "tidak mepunyai" kita memerlukan "do not".

I do not have a book.
You do not have 3 apples.
They do not have a big house.
Toni and Tono do not have new pens.
The boys do not have some books.
The cats do not have a big house.

"has" hanya digunakan untuk subject-subject seperti di atas, jadi kita tidak boleh mengatakan;

Contoh pemakaian "Has" dalam kalimat positif.

She has a book.
He has 2 cars.
It has a fish.
Toni has a new computer.
Tina has  beautiful hair.
The cat has a fish.

untuk merubah kalimat diatas menjadi negatif, kita memerluka "does not/ doesn't" kemudian "has" harus dirubah menjadi "have". Dengan kata lain "has" hanya dipakai dalam kalimat positif saja, dan akan berubah menjadi "have" jika dalam kalimat negatif dan kalimat introgatif.

She has a book.
She doesn't have a book.
He has 2 cars
He doesn't have 2 cars.
Toni has a new computer.
Toni doesn't have a new computer.
Does she have a book? Yes, she does/ No, she, doesn't

ADJECTIVE ORDER

    The use of adjectives is essential when trying to describe a noun or pronoun.  Good writers and speakers are able to use adjectives to create clear, mental images for the reader or listener.  As you continue to work on your English, don’t be afraid to use multiple adjectives to describe something. Using more than three physically descriptive type adjectives in sequence to describe one noun or pronoun would sound a little awkward.   When using multiple adjectives in a sequence, you must be aware of the correct adjective order.  The proper order of adjectives is listed below along with some examples for each category.

1. Determiners – a, an, the, my, your, several, etc.
2. Opinion – lovely, boring, stimulating, etc.
3. Size – tiny, small, huge, etc.
4. Shape – round, square, rectangular, etc.
5. Age – old, new, ancient, etc.
6. Color – red, blue, green, etc.
7. Origin – British, American, Mexican, etc.
8. Material – gold, copper, silk, etc.
9. Purpose-dinning, meeting, running, swimmimg

Here are some example

1. she has beautiful big eyes : Opinion-Size
2. The large square dining table was decorated with white candles and beautiful vases of white roses. : Size-Shape-Purpose
3. My uncle had his old wooden chairs repaired yesterday. : Age-Material

PART OF SPEECH

On this occasion I will discuss about Part of Speech material. Those of you who have probably just used English and don't know that a sentence in English has parts called Part of Speech. This is also important to learn for those who are just learning English because we need to understand the parts of the sentence that make up the sentence in full and correctly.

So What is Part of Speech?

In grammar, the parts that make up a sentence in English are called part of speech. There are 8 parts in Part of Speech, namely noun, verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, preposition, conjunction, and interjection.

Parts of Speech

1. Noun 

Noun is a word that functions to name an object such as people, objects, animals, places, and other things. Examples such as paint, doctor, school, Bandung, pencil, bed, sugar, hair, etc.

Example of sentences:

- I buy a new computer today 

- Your hair is so beautiful, do you go to saloon for treatment? 

2. Verb 

Verb is a word that shows an action from someone or subject. The example is the study, drink, eat, drive, make, read, write, swim, walk, run, jump, etc.

Example of sentences:

- I study everyday at school 

- She is looking for her shoes 

3. Adjective

Adjective is a word that describes the nature of a noun or pronoun. His example is white, black, long, short, handsome, beautiful, smart, big, small, clever, smart, cute, and so forth.

Example of sentences:

- Rani is so beautiful, especially when she is wearing red hat 

- My paint has brown fur, It is so soft and shiny

4. Adverb

Adverb is a word that describes verb, adjective, and other adverb. His example is beautifully, quickly, honestly, fairly, always, usually, angrily, slowly, and others.

Example of sentences:

- She sings beautifully

- I always eat my foods slowly

5. Pronoun 

Pronoun is a pronoun for objects (noun). This noun is used so that we do not mention noun repeatedly. Examples of katan pronouns are I, you, they, we, he, it, that, those, these, this, and so forth.

Example of sentences:

- You will come to my house tonight, right? 

- He is really sleepy, so he slept in class 

6. Preposition

Preposition is a word used to indicate the location of an object or our position. Examples of preposition words are in, on, at, below, above, in front of, behind, near, around, and so on.

Example of sentences:

- My house is beside the mosque

- There is mouse under the table 

7. Conjunction

Conjunction is a word used to connect words, phrases, clauses, or sentences. Examples of conjunctions are, For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, and So or that can be abbreviated as FANBOYS so that we are easier to remember.

Example of sentences:

- Do you like pink or blue? 

- Both mother and baby were treated in the hospital 

8. Interjection

Interjection is a short speech that describes a person's emotions or feelings. For example, Oh !, Ouch !, Eww !, Yummy !, Ahaa !, Oops !, Hurray !, Yippee !, and so on.

Example of sentences:

- Wow! Your dress is so beautiful! 

- Ouch! My knee is hurt, be careful. 

Auxiliary verbs (can and could)

Auxiliary verbs which can also be called modal verbs. In English we know a lot of modal verbs, for example: cans, must, have to, has to, may etc. Now we focus on the modal verb can and can.

Can be used for:
* Express ability
Example:
^I can swim.
^I can swim. He can speak English
^He can speak English. Ron can drive     a car.
^Roni can drive a car.

* Used to make sentence requests / requests
We usually use question sentences if we want to ask someone to do something.
Example:
^Can you turn on the TV?
^Can you help me?
^Can you be quiet!

* Permission
We usually use cans to request or give permission.
Example:
A: Can I smoke in this room?
B: You can't smoke here.

Positive Sentence

Example:

Could be used for:
* Past / past shapes of cans, can be used to explain abilities in the past.
Example:
^I could swim when I was 5 years old. ^Toni could speak 7 languages.

To change the sentences into negative sentences, just add "notes" after the can.

^I could not swim when I was 5 years old.
^Toni Couldn't speak 7 languages.

* To make a sentence request / request and also an order / order
In this case if we use could in a command sentence or request, it will look formal or more polite when compared to using a can.
Example:
^Could you help me, please?
^Could you turn on the Tv, please? ^Could you tell me where the hospital is, please?

THE SIMPLE PRESENT : YES/NO QUESTIONS

Yes no question is question calling for a short answer of yes or no. We just need to say yes or no to answer the question. The answer “yes” asserts a positive answer that make a positive sentence and the answer ”no” asserts the negative one.

My daily activity 1

In the morning, I usually wake up at 04.00 a.m. When I have morning class, I have a shower immediately.
Then, I go to campus by motorcycle. Sometimes, I pick up my friend then we go together. On the way to campus, we buy and eat breakfast at one food stand near campus. We chat along the way about many things.I usually go home at  afternoon and take a rest. Finally, I go to bed at 11 to 12 p.m. when all tasks are finished.

Day of week story

this time I will share my activities on holidays. 
happy to read my story

      Sunday is a holiday and a relaxing time for the students of the campus , Early in the morning I wake up , but not like I usually wake up later , after waking up I immediately got ready to perform the dawn prayer in congregation in the campus dorms , do not forget after morning prayers I read the Qur'an .
      Finally the sun rose , I was a Sunday morning activities ie mutual aid cleaning dorm with friends . After cleaning the dorm , my friends and self-cleaning ( shower ) , and then my friends dorm and eat together .
      After breakfast I usually read a book while listening to music , it has become my habit to enjoy a relaxing time on the day off .
      By relaxing reading a book does not feel the day has been entered during the day, where the clock approached noon prayer time , when it is time for the noon prayer I prepared for midday prayers . Activities after the noon prayers and usually my friends working on assignments such as papers and other tasks .
       Sunset time has come , my friends and perform Maghrib prayers and reading the Qur'an . After that followed dinner together , then perform Isha prayers after Isha prayers I prepare to rest ( sleep ) . Here's my brief story on the day off the day of the week .

My story 2

hello guyss welcome back to my blog, on this blog I will continue the story that was not completed and continued. so today I will continue my story.
so this is my story

     After we got home, I was immediately greeted by my cute little sister, I was about to carry her but was banned by my aunt. because I ran out of a long trip and a lot of germs came to my body. so I went straight to the room and got ready to take a shower. after taking a shower I went to my room and immediately carried her, how cute my little sister was.
     After I play with my brother. I was immediately told to help my family cook in the kitchen for the program later. actually I can cook but I rarely cook if I'm in Palangkaraya, because it's blocked by my stacked college assignments, so I always buy food outside.
     My aqiqah program is just a few hours away, I can't wait to see how the series is. in this event there were many people who came, including my extended family, who from outside the base came crowded together. I'm very happy that my big family gathered in my house. because it is rare for us to be able to gather together like now. the end of the aqiqah event began, how reverent the event was held. the program was finished and it was time for me to go back to Palangkaraya using the bus I used this morning. I shook hands with all my family for farewells because I will return to Palangkaraya.

so this is the story, here it is

     One day, on March 3, 2019, there will be the youngest newborn aqiqah, which will be held at the home of my father's parents at Pangkalanbun. at that time I was still studying at one of the universities in Palangkara, and there were many assignments given by our lecturers.
but at that time my family told me to go home to attend the event. I thought if I came home what about my assignment that was piling up. After I took it and looked at the schedule on the lecture calendar, it seemed like I could attend the event, with the risk of being tired, because I didn't stay overnight, but only briefly there.
     then I contacted my family and said that I could go home but only for a while. they are confused by my words. they said, usually when I go home I always stay there for a week or two, but why not now. Then I explained to them why I couldn't stay there.
     after everything was finished, I went to the bus terminal that I usually went to, and ordered a bus. I always order a bus with a bench number near the window, because it makes me more comfortable. The walk from Palangkaraya to Base Bun takes 8 to 9 hours. and that departure starts at 7pm and arrives at around 5am. after I got picked up by my father, I used the car and we went home.
